What We Do

The Need

Of the 16 million school children in South Africa over 3 million walk to school every day and have to learn sitting on the floor.

These 3 million disadvantaged children also have to study sitting on the floor at home.


The Solution

The Dalo Desk is a portable school desk and chair, designed to be carried by the student providing a workspace which they utilize both at school and at home.

By uplifting the student off the floor, educational outcomes are positively affected by improving the students:

Without a school desk, children are prejudiced in vital development and literacy areas.
